These are some of my favorite travel rewards credit cards that can earn you free travel! As always, it is advised to use credit cards responsibly, and to pay off your balance on time and in full every single month to prevent interest accumulation. If you do sign up for any of these credit cards using my referral links below, then I would also get extra points if you are approved for referring you, so thank you!
Chase Sapphire Preferred Credit Card
This credit card is one of the best to start with for earning free travel, since Chase Ultimate Rewards points are so incredibly flexible as they can transfer to several airlines and hotels.
Any Southwest Credit Card (Personal, Business, or Both!)
Southwest credit cards are also under the umbrella of Chase, and these are excellent credit cards to consider for flying on Southwest, especially if you’re trying to earn the Southwest Companion Pass! The Southwest companion pass allows the earner (you!) to bring a companion with you FOR FREE for the rest of the calendar year that it is earned, PLUS the whole following year! You can use the points that you have earned to flying for free yourself, as well. (Taxes and fees are not free, so each flight will have a small cost.)
I have both a personal and business Southwest credit card, and the sign up bonuses helped me to earn my companion pass! Southwest flies to many domestic cities, as well as now to Hawaii(!), Mexico, several Caribbean Islands, and even some Central American countries.
Chase Ink Business Preferred Credit Card
If you have a business, this is one of the best business credit cards around with an amazing sign up bonus!
World of Hyatt Credit Card
Once you have earned many points that you could use on several free flights (perhaps you have even earned a Southwest Companion Pass), you need a place to stay at all of these wonderful destinations. Hyatt has many destinations domestically and internationally, and they even have some all-inclusive locations that you could vacation at!
